Beaches
Facilities, access, wind and sea conditions vary. Choose a swimming spot or water activity around the conditions that day and your experience.
- Kolymbithres has small sandy coves divided by granite formations. Some sections have sunbeds and umbrellas.
- Chrysi Akti, or Golden Beach, is a long sandy beach associated with windsurfing. A local instructor can advise on activities for your experience.
- Santa Maria is near Naoussa, with larger and smaller beach sections.
- Pounda Beach on the east coast is different from west-coast Pounta, where the Antiparos ferry departs and kitesurfing takes place. Check which location your directions refer to.
- Marcello is a sandy beach near Parikia with organised sections.
- Monastiri is a small sandy beach near Ai Yiannis Detis Monastery and Paros Park. The surrounding coast also has walking options.
- Molos is a long sandy beach with fewer organised facilities, so check what is available and bring what you need.
- Laggeri has sand and dunes near Naoussa. Check local access before setting out.

Villages and towns
- Parikia is the capital and main port. Walk through the old town and visit Panagia Ekatontapiliani, often called the Church of 100 Doors.
- Naoussa has a fishing harbour, a Venetian castle area and places to eat or spend the evening.
- Lefkes has whitewashed houses, neoclassical buildings and access to the Byzantine Road for a walking stop inland.
- Marpissa is a 16th-century village with traditional windmills and churches.
- At Prodromos, look for the vaulted entrance and bell tower.
- Marmara is a stop for traditional architecture and local products.
Activities
- For water sports, check the instructors and operators around Golden Beach or west-coast Pounta. Confirm the location and activity covered by your booking.
- Historical stops include Ai Yiannis Detis Monastery, the Venetian Fort of Naoussa and the Frankish Castle.
- Parikia, Naoussa and Lefkes have streets and architecture to explore on foot.

Costs and rental conditions
Confirm the minimum age for the selected car, ATV/UTV or scooter, the card and deposit requirements, and the excess and exclusions for damage, fire or theft. If you need a different return point, ask whether it is supported and what the full charge is.
Additional-driver prices quoted in January 2025 were a free first additional driver and €3 per day for further drivers. Confirm the charge that applies to your booking.
