Villages and walks

Beaches
- Kolymbithres has granite formations and sandy coves near Naoussa.
- Golden Beach, or Chryssi Akti, is a long sandy beach associated with windsurfing.

History and cultural sites
- Panagia Ekatontapiliani is a Byzantine church complex in Parikia, often called the Church of 100 Doors.

- Lefkes is an inland village with paved lanes and whitewashed houses.
Local food
Look for gouna, the traditional sun-dried salted fish, and mizithra cheese on local menus. For octopus and other seafood, ask what is available that day.
