Guida di Paros: borghi, spiagge e un programma di tre giorni
For a first visit to Paros, start with a base near the places you want to reach each day. Parikia puts you by the main port and old town; Naoussa offers harbour walks and evenings out; inland and coastal villages give you other starting points. These travel notes date from 5 April 2025. Check current transport and the operation of named venues for your own dates.
Getting to Paros
From Athens, compare a domestic flight with a ferry journey. Include the transfer to the airport or mainland port, check-in and the connection from your arrival point to your accommodation.
- Paros Airport is near Alyki. The HCAA airport page lists it as a domestic airport and names Olympic Air (AEGEAN) and Sky Express. Check the airline’s actual route, baggage conditions and booked duration for your date.
- For the ferry, compare the vessel, stops, fare and vehicle conditions. Blue Star Ferries, Seajets and Hellenic Seaways are operator names to research for your route; confirm the particular sailing with the company or booking service.
- For a Rafina departure, check that a suitable service operates on your date, then compare the transfer and boarding time with Piraeus.
For connections from Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini, Syros, Ios, Amorgos or Crete (Heraklion), search the actual date and itinerary. From places such as Milos or Folegandros, investigate whether an intermediate stop is needed. Establish the connection before arranging accommodation and check the sailing again near departure.
Getting around the island

Compare transport with the stops you intend to make and the passengers and bags travelling together.
- A rental car can help with several journeys. Check capacity, pickup and return points and the selected terms for age, licence, insurance and any delivery charge. See the informazioni sul noleggio a Paros.
- ATVs, quads and scooters have different passenger and luggage limits. Match these alternative di noleggio to your licence and experience. Rentals are for use on paved roads.
- The KTEL bus hub is in Parikia near the port. Buses connect the main towns with villages and beaches, with seasonal changes. Check the route and return service that cover your stops.
- For taxis, request availability at the time you need and agree the fare or confirm use of the meter. Compare the total for frequent journeys with the other options.
- For summer beach boats, ask about routes such as Parikia to Krios or Marcello and Naoussa to Kolymbithres or Monastiri. Confirm the day’s operation and return before relying on the connection.
- For multi-island rental research, the Cyclades Rent a Car search opens search results. Confirm the provider and conditions for the service you choose.
Where to stay
Use the property’s address to judge the journeys you will make for meals, beaches and sightseeing. Compare room layouts and facilities with your group’s needs, then agree the arrival arrangements directly.
- Naoussa puts the harbour and nearby restaurants and evening venues within reach on foot, depending on the accommodation address. Check access and parking.
- Parikia combines the main ferry port, old town, Panagia Ekatontapiliani and waterfront. Compare the address with the bus routes or other journeys you will use.
- Lefkes offers an inland base with traditional architecture and the Byzantine Road towards Prodromos. Include the journeys to the coast in your decision.
- Piso Livadi and Logaras are eastern coastal options with beaches and waterfront places to eat. Check the transport links of the particular property.
- Aliki and Drios are southern coastal villages for accommodation, meals and time by the sea. Compare the actual services and prices for your dates.
Accommodation names to research
Accommodation names to research include the following. Confirm each property’s current address, rooms and facilities directly.
- Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort; Summer Senses Luxury Resort; Parilio, a Member of Design Hotels; Mythic Paros.
- Hotel Senia; Mr & Mrs White Paros; Saint Andrea Seaside Resort; Paliomylos Spa Hotel; Paros Agnanti Hotel.
- Calme Boutique Hotel; Villa Irini; Paros Bay Hotel; Anthippi Guesthouse; Kontaratos Studios & Apartments.
Studios, apartments and guesthouses give you other ways to compare the accommodation on your route. On platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb, use the current listing’s map and room details.
Beaches, villages and activities

Choose visits for your interests and available time. For beaches, look at access and facilities along with the conditions on the day. For bookable activities, contact the operator before fixing the rest of the plan.
Beaches around the coast
- Kolymbithres, near Naoussa, has granite formations dividing the shore into small sandy coves.
- Golden Beach (Chrissi Akti) is a long sandy beach known for windsurfing.
- Santa Maria has larger and smaller beach sections near Naoussa, with organised facilities in parts.
- Monastiri is near Paros Park, where coastal paths and cultural programming can complement a beach visit.
- Parasporos is a sandy beach south of Parikia.
- Logaras, near Piso Livadi, has tamarisk trees and places to eat nearby. Check any published beach award separately from the current facilities.
- Faragas is a cove on the southern side of Paros.
- Lageri, near Naoussa, has dunes and fewer organised facilities. Check access and local rules.
Village walks
- In Lefkes, walk the paved lanes and the Agia Triada area. The village is also a starting point for the Byzantine Road to Prodromos.
- Marpissa and Prodromos offer village lanes, whitewashed houses, archways, churches and windmills for an inland route. Leave time to park and explore on foot.
- Kostos is another inland village to consider for a walking stop.
Activities and cultural visits
- For a boat trip around Paros, Antiparos or nearby islets, compare the route, stops and included services with the time you have.
- The Byzantine Road between Lefkes and Prodromos and the coastal paths of Paros Park are walking options. Check the chosen route and conditions before setting out.
- For water sports, investigate windsurfing or kitesurfing around Golden Beach and ask about SUP, kayaking or diving around areas such as Santa Maria and Faragas. Confirm the operator and conditions for the activity.
- For wine tasting, research Moraitis Winery in Naoussa. Ask about visits and which Parian wines are available, including those made with Monemvasia grapes.
- A cooking class can focus on dishes such as revithada or spanakopita. Agree the menu, location and session content before reserving.
- For archaeology, consider the Archaeological Museum of Paros in Parikia, the Asklepion and the Marathi marble quarries. Check access and visitor arrangements. Panagia Ekatontapiliani is another cultural stop in Parikia.
Food and places to look up
For meal planning, look up the current menus and locations of the named venues before reserving. The seafood and restaurant options include Siparos, Barbarossa, Mario, Glafkos, Stilvi and Les Amis. Taverna names include Klarinos, Anna & Giorgos, Taverna Paros and Bountaraki. Sigi Ikthios and Agosta are also names to research for an evening stop.
Look for revithada, a slow-cooked chickpea dish, and gouna, salted mackerel dried in the sun. Other local food ideas include xinomizithra cheese, fish, octopus and salads with local capers. Parian wines, ouzo and souma, a local spirit, also feature in island meals. Ask what is being prepared that day.
Paros and other islands

Compare the places you want to visit and the connections between them, along with accommodation for the same dates.
- Naxos has long beaches, inland villages and archaeological sites such as the Portara. Compare those stops with Paros’s harbour towns, including Naoussa and Parikia, and check the ferry connection.
- For Mykonos, compare actual accommodation prices, transport and the nightlife or other places on your list. Island-wide price and atmosphere rankings are too broad to plan a stay around.
- Milos has volcanic coastal sites such as Sarakiniko and Kleftiko. Compare which visits need a boat and how those connections fit your trip with Paros’s villages and beaches.
A day or a night on Antiparos
Antiparos is reached from Pounta on Paros’s west coast. Check the ferry and return connection, then decide whether a day leaves time for your stops or whether you would prefer to stay overnight.
- The Cave of Antiparos involves a stepped descent and the climb back. Check the current visitor information before going.
- Chora has whitewashed lanes, shops and places to eat around the Venetian Kastro area.
- Soros, Glyfa, Agios Georgios and Faneromeni are beach options. Agios Georgios is also a departure area for Despotiko excursions. Plan transport or modalità di noleggio for stops beyond Chora.
- For an overnight stay, The Rooster is one accommodation name to research. Confirm the room, services and conditions directly for your dates.
Un esempio di programma di tre giorni
Adapt the order to your arrival time, transport and visitor opening arrangements. Choose only the stops you have time to enjoy.
Day 1: arrival and Parikia
- After arriving by flight or ferry, travel to your accommodation.
- Spend the afternoon in the old town and Kastro area, including Panagia Ekatontapiliani if visitor arrangements fit.
- For the evening, consider sunset from the Frankish Castle area or a seafront café, followed by dinner in Parikia’s lanes or along the waterfront.
Day 2: Naoussa and the north
- Visit Kolymbithres in the morning, choosing whether to swim according to the conditions.
- Walk around Naoussa’s harbour and lanes before choosing a lunch stop.
- For the afternoon, choose Santa Maria or Paros Park. A booked winery visit is another option if you prefer wine tasting.
- Arrange dinner or another evening stop in Naoussa around your return transport.
Day 3: Antiparos or the interior
For Antiparos, take the ferry from Pounta and plan a cave visit if its opening arrangements fit. Leave time for Chora and a nearby beach such as Psaraliki or Glyfa, then return on the sailing you have checked.
For an inland day, visit Lefkes and consider a walk on the Byzantine Road if conditions suit. Lunch could be in Lefkes, Marpissa or Prodromos, followed by a southern or eastern beach such as Golden Beach, Aliki or Faragas. Arrange any booked activity separately.
Spend the final evening where your return journey is manageable: Parikia, Naoussa or a venue you have looked up, such as Siparos. With more days, spread the stops out or add a boat trip, quarry visit or cooking class after confirming access and operation.
Questions about a stay on Paros
Compare buses and other transport with your stops. If a auto a noleggio or ATV suits your plan, check the licence, age, documents and permitted-use conditions for the selected vehicle.
Paros ha collegamenti con altre isole delle Cicladi in base a data e servizio. Controlla andata e ritorno senza presumere che ogni isola vicina sia comoda per una visita in giornata.
